Often times we forget that caretakers need care too and deserve to be recognized and rewarded for their hard work and the goal of the Community Cares grant was to take a moment to uplift them. WBC called on the residents of North Minneapolis to nominate community leaders,  caregivers, or anyone they believed was a stronghold within the North Minneapolis community to receive $1,000 to put towards their personal health and wellness.
